About Denton Massage
Lynn Sallee is the owner of Denton Massage and is a member of Associated Bodywork and Massage Professionals. Lynn attended the University of North Texas, graduating with a B.A. in 1993. She had been doing massages for over a decade and was finally convinced by friends and family to seek professional employment as an LMT.
 She attended the Academy of Healing Arts in the year 2000, and began her practice that same year. She was inducted into the Native Texas Hall of Fame in 2003. Denton ISD awarded her the Top Public Servant Award in 2003, and Top Adopter Working With Staff every year since 2004.
In 2002, she began Community Service Appreciation. That same year, she became an Adopt A School Partner for Denton ISD and then an Adopt-A-School board member.
She had an article on massage therapy published in an issue of S.W.E.A.T., a physical fitness magazine, at the beginning of 2003.
Lynn believes in giving to the community and being a part of it. In the past, she has encouraged her children to join her in volunteering at the local food center and at the free clothing room. She gives freely to many charities; in material possessions, and in time. She has donated gift certificates for auction to the Denton Fire Fighter Gold Classic since 2003 to help the Muscular Dystrophy Association (www.dentonfirefighters.org), as well as many other charitable auctions. One year, she donated an entire week's massages to United Way, publicizing it so that others would know where their donations were going.
She is President of Shalen Opportunities, a nonprofit organization dedicated to developing communities that work with both technology and the environment, helping the public learn of building options, and housing opportunities.
Lynn's gentle massage is tremendously relaxing.
